Bahrain, since ever crossroads in the middle east, reset its navigation services in 2019. I (3rd from right) had the pleasure to support this endeavor with the analysis of system architecture.
2000-2020:

Head of System Infrastructure and Services, Region South, located in Munich Airport. Responsible for all technical gear, IT, Navigation, Surveillance, Networks, Aviation Data, Facility Management and Towers of München, Nürnberg and Stuttgart. 100 plus engineers and IT-personnel.
1987-2000:
Kayser-Threde GmbH
Manned and unmanned Spaceflight on the leading edge. Many projects from developing first ideas with the scientific community to final project closeout in the orbital commissioning phase. Skill bandwidth ranged from remote sensing, material sciences, navigation to medical experiments.
1982-1987:
PREUSSAG Öl und Gas
Marine Search for Manganese nodules in the Pacific on research vessel "Sonne". Onboard responsible for navigation, seismic and magnetic campaigns and sub-bottom profiling. Exploration of hydrocarbons with geophysical prospecting in the DACH region. First management experience in leading consortia .
1976-1982:
Diploma in Geophysics.
Specialized in Seismic Exploration and Geoelectrics. Focused on Glaciology. Also insight into geologic field work, mineralogy and meteorology. And of course very early handling enormous amount of data- due to the nature of geophysics.
